D. Alain Arsene
Biography
D. Alain Arsene obtained his degree as a higher technician in 2019 specializing in Systems Engineering, Automation, and Telematics. He also obtained a master in Cybersecurity in 2022.
He worked as informatic technician at the Chemical Research Institute “Andrés M. del Río” of the University of Alcalá from 2019 to 2021, where he also developed its first website. Later, in 2022, he was research technician of the DISCoVER-UAH-CM project financed though REACT-EU funding. Moreover, since 2019, he has rehabilitated and enhanced the high-performance computing hub for chemical research groups at the University of Alcalá focused on molecular modeling. He participated in two international conferences organized by SIE, a company devoted to HPC development and support to computational scientists.
Presently, he is a systems analyst at the University of Alcalá, working at the Vice-Rectorate for Teaching Innovation & Digital Transformation and also a member of the university’s Center for Teaching Innovation and Online Studies (IDEO), a service created to support teaching activities. At IDEO, he is involved in managing the areas of Teaching Innovation and Online Studies, as well as overseeing the Virtual Classroom service. He has been involved in many European inter-university projects within the UniDigital Plan, including CertiDigital, MADAI, and DigCompEdu-FyA, contributing to the modernization and digital transformation of the Spanish University System (SUE).
